A mixed media installation in the Rubenstein Art Center at Duke University, consisting of a 30’ long printed image laid on a custom-built lectern, with a small section of the scroll specifically illuminated. Paper rocks are scattered across the length of the scroll and around the room. The scroll displays a satellite image of a strip of land centered on the site of the Sobibor Extermination Camp. The scroll was soaked with water before installation so that it would remember the surface it rested on.
