Multi-Channel Video Installation

A site-specific, multi-channel video installation at the Rubinstein Arts Center, at Duke University. Centered in the Murthy Agora Gallery and emanating through the building’s hallways and interstitial spaces, it included 10 videos displayed on concentric curved screens centered around a dome. Each screen showed a continuous view of the earth from different vantage points and different scales. The central dome showed a satellite's view of eastern Europe, in a transit above the former Pale of Settlement (Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland). Other screens show the horizon from Montclair, NJ, insects of North Carolina, and Google Earth flight simulations across eastern Europe.
