Two-Channel Video Installation

Two-channel video installation at the Rubenstein Art Center at Duke University. One screen displays a composited view of eastern Europe from above a layer of cloud cover, set to “The Power of Love” by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. The other screen displays a long shot of a housefly in open hands. Building on each other, the videos explore aesthetics of power as expressed as spatialized relations between viewer and viewed, object and subject, powerful and powerless.
